As part of a development team, the successful candidate will participate in the development and maintenance of MVC/C#, .Net Core, AngularJS and Angular web applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develops the solution for the software product in accordance with the solution architecture and technical roadmap.
  • Validates with the solution designers the implementation of new features.
  • Performs code review and applies good coding practices.
  • Assumes responsibility for the quality of the delivered code.
  • Helps to eliminate technical obstacles raised by the team.
  • Works on functional and technical analysis as needed.
  • Provides technical support/leadership for escalated incidents/faults to ensure they are resolved effectively.
  • Works with solution designers to ensure design will meet requirements.
  • Makes the best technical design decisions based on knowledge or in collaboration with the Technical Lead and/or Solution Architect.

Requirements

  • Have a university degree in computer science or computer/software engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of knowledge and hands-on experience developing web applications with ASP.Net /C#/MVC, web services (WCF and REST), object-oriented design and microservices architecture.
  • Have between 3 and more years of knowledge and practical experience in the development of .Net Core applications.
  • 5+ years of knowledge and practical experience with HTML4+/HTML5, CSS/Less, Javascript/JQuery, Ajax, DOM and Xml web standards is essential.
  • Have 5+ years of knowledge and practical experience with AngularJS and Angular.
  • Have a working knowledge of the Visual Studio 2019+/Git/Azure DevOps development environment.
  • Hands-on experience in an agile development environment.
  • Bilingual (French/English).

Assets

  • Have good knowledge and hands-on experience with MS Sql and EF relational databases.
  • Knowledge of WCF web services development.
  • Knowledge of REST API development.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with Xslt/Xpath is an asset.
  • Knowledge of and practical experience with WCAG web content accessibility rules is an asset.
  • Demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, and initiative in their work.
  • Ability to be a good team player with an open mind.
  • Excellent learning skills and ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
