The UI/UX designer is responsible for developing the mockups and providing the necessary support to the team during development.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and analyze the experience of users interacting with our product
  • Work with product owners to collect and synthesize customer needs (internal and external)
  • Define the main challenges and the points for improvement of the web platform
  • Develop user scenarios to assist in the design and definition of the application
  • Design models and prototypes using the existing design system taking into account user experience, usability, accessibility and ergonomics concepts
  • Collect feedback from users to assess the appropriateness of suggested improvements to the interface and make any necessary adjustments
  • Define the interaction design best practices
  • Write/update functional and/or technical specifications to facilitate development
  • Work closely with the development team to establish the scope of the proposed changes and support the various stakeholders

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline (in computer science, software ergonomics, industrial design and/or management or equivalent)
  • A master’s degree in cognitive ergonomics will be considered an asset
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in UX/UI design
  • Fluency in French and English, both orally and in writing
  • Be creative and an excellent team player
  • Have an excellent knowledge of user-oriented development methods
  • Have a good sense of observation
  • Be able to understand and use current computer technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be able to design prototypes of interactive user interfaces
  • Be comfortable working with a design system and evolving it as needed
  • Experience working with Figma software
  • Experience with web accessibility
  • Experience with CRM, payroll and accounting solutions will be considered an asset
