Description:
IMMIGRANT SERVICES – AMITYVILLE

CCLI is looking for a Bilingual (Ukrainian/English) Outreach Coordinator with a generous heart and a desire to contribute to the well-being of others to carry out our mission on Long Island. By joining our team, you will share in the joy of providing “care with dignity and life with hope.”
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services or a related field.
- Two years of experience working with immigrants.
- Must be fully Bilingual (Ukrainian/English).
- Ability to establish productive relationships with clients, agencies and community organizations.
- Valid NYS Driver’s License.
- Some evening and weekend work may be required for program activities.
Schedule: full time – 35 hours per week – Work schedule: Monday to Friday 9 AM – 5 PM
This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position.
This program is grant funded until 9/30/25 federal budget permitting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement outreach strategies using expansive knowledge of Long Island and of the target population.
- Respond to emails, phone calls and assist walk-ins with program information.
- Maintain accurate records of all outreach conducted.
- Collaborate with program supervisors, attorneys and case managers about case eligibility/activities.
- Represent program at community events, health fairs and conferences.
- Translate and interpret client communication.
