Billing Clerk

We are looking for a meticulous Billing Clerk to be a part of our logistics team based in Savannah, Georgia. In this role, you will primarily handle customer credit applications, ensure the accuracy of customer credit records, and address customer inquiries. Your duties will also include monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions.

• Efficiently process and manage customer credit applications
• Ensure the accuracy and organization of customer credit records
• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Keep track of customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
• Utilize computerized billing systems to streamline processes
• Perform various accounting functions as needed
• Familiarize and work with Intermodel Logistics within the logistics industry
• Handle billing operations and ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with third-party logistics for efficient operations
• Use QuickBooks for various accounting and billing tasks.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within the logistics industry
• Proficiency in computerized billing systems and software
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic accounting functions
• Experience in billing procedures and processes
• Familiarity with Intermodel Logistics and its applications in billing
• Understanding of the logistics industry, including its key processes and systems
• Experience working with third party logistics providers
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software for financial management and accounting tasks
