Overview:
We are currently looking for someone to join our team in the role of Billing Coordinator in our Waterloo office.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares the weekly billing files and transmits them to the Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS) thru HPG.
  • Prepares the bi-weekly payroll file and send to the payroll department according to a predetermined schedule.
  • Enters data that will affect changes to payroll (i.e. travel and mileage).
  • Reviews timesheets for front line staff for accuracy and reasonability for payroll and to ensure accurate billing within Procura
  • Identifies variances in timesheet data and corrects as appropriate to accurately produce reports.
  • Responds to Nurses, CSW and Therapists inquiries regarding payroll issues and concerns and refers complex issues to Manager or designate as required.Internal and External Communication
  • Maintains good working relationships with operations and service purchasers, responding in a timely manner to inquiries
  • Ability to use discretion when handling private/sensitive information.
  • Contributes to a healthy and safe working environment.
  • Performs other duties as required
