Description:
SPJST Senior Living is looking for a billing specialist to join our team. This role will work as a Medicaid billing specialist and business office manager.
- Prior accounting experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting is required;
- Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, managed care and private insurance; Medicaid experience is required.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills;
- Strong working knowledge of HIPAA guidelines;
- Knowledge of nursing home business functions
- Generate timely billing of all payer classes per policy.
- Establish controls to assure accuracy and timeliness of month end close. Complete month-end close adhering to policy
- The BOM is responsible for managing all aspects and functions of the business systems in the facility.
- High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must Pass a background check
- Long term care reconciliation experience
