Summary of Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of direct client billing, including invoicing, follow-up, collections, and reporting. Your expertise will ensure accurate and timely billing processes, fostering positive client relationships while contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. If you have a strong background in billing and collections, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service, we invite you to apply and become a key player on our Finance team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and follow-up on outstanding claims
- Follow through with correspondence regarding collections when unable to contact the patient on the telephone
- Send information as requested by clients
- Correspond with clients to resolve payment delays, requests for additional information or to discuss invoices.
Qualifications Expected for Position
- 2+ years of experience in collections, billing or insurance.
- Experience with reviewing and analyzing insurance payments, and/or payer adjudication claims against contract terms and patient coverage and benefits.
- Must be able to complete tasks within timeframes.
- Proficient in Excel and MS Office applications.
- Fluent in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (in-office and remote) in our Warsaw location.
