Job Description
Work hand in hand with the Opta’s Client Care and Finance teams to maintain and facilitate billing processes, invoice delivery and contract management. This role will communicate directly with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis, ensuring great customer experience.
Qualifications
- University/College degree, or equivalent work experience and/or technical school preferred.
- 3-5 years of customer-facing interaction and problem-solving skills, preferably in handling large accounts
- Experience in customer service, especially with data and technology driven solutions
- Strong understanding of billing procedures, invoicing, and reconciliation.
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Manage and triage Billing issues as they develop
- Works with internal departments and takes responsibility to ensure successful resolution of each Billing issue
- Communicates with customers and internal stakeholders on outstanding Billing issues.
- Manage internal and external invoice reporting requirements
- Ensures up-to-date status of contracts and agreements
- Identifies problem trends and escalates as appropriate
- Identifies process efficiencies and drives process improvement making a positive impact on the customer experience
