Job Description
As an Accounts Receivable Team Lead, you will take a pivotal role in shaping and optimising our financial operations. Your expertise in accounts receivable, leadership capabilities, and strategic thinking will contribute to the financial success of our organisation. We’re seeking an accomplished professional to lead a high-performing team and ensure seamless transactions while achieving our financial goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in Accounts Receivable or related roles, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite or equivalent ERP systems.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles, billing procedures, and financial reconciliation.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, fostering teamwork and professional development.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

  • Billing Excellence: Oversee the accurate billing of customers, leveraging your experience to generate invoices from sales orders within NetSuite. Craft meticulous billing schedules that highlight revenue commitments for multi-year deals based on comprehensive data from SFDC.
  • Global Compliance: Ensuring adherence to diverse ways of working and local jurisdiction requirements, you’ll ensure that the required approaches are understood, met, and consistently applied across different regions.
  • Credit Management: Take the lead in generating credit memos for the entire region while extending your support to other regions as needed. Use your expertise to meet and even surpass KPIs and metrics, ensuring successful billing and collections outcomes.
  • Month-End Efficiency: Actively manage and streamline month-end tasks and reconciliations, ensuring a timely and precise financial close.
  • Process Enhancement: Innovate by creating Standard Operating Procedures, training guides, and Best Practices, enhancing the overall efficiency and performance of the team. Leverage your leadership to oversee the implementation and adherence to these improvements.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Skillfully navigate and manage cultural and regional differences while upholding payment terms, fostering positive customer relationships.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with the Orders and Collections Team for seamless sales order corrections, credit memos, and prepayments. Collaborate with the Tax Team on global tax queries and requirements to ensure accurate financial transactions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead by example, motivating and guiding your team to deliver exceptional results. Provide coaching and mentorship while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • Ad Hoc Contribution: Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as required by the AR Manager, demonstrating your flexibility and commitment to the team’s success.
