EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Joining a multifunctional Digital Engineering Team, comprising of Digital Design and Information Management – this role bridges the gap between these teams, providing pivotal support to the broader design and delivery functions of our projects. This role will liaise between project teams, contractors and consultants to ensure seamless communication and collaboration and maximising value from our digital initiatives.
Successful candidates will draw on a wealth of experience in both digital design and information management, to provide wide-ranging support across use of design tools, CDEs, BIM processes and the introduction of new developments.

SITTING WITHIN THE DESIGN AND DELIVERY TEAM, THIS ROLE WILL BE PART OF A TEAM THAT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DIGITAL ENGINEERING ACROSS THE CAPITAL DELIVERY PORTFOLIO, DELIVERING & MANAGING DIGITAL VALUE USING THE LATEST SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGIES.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

Joining our Digital Engineering Team, we’re looking for:

• Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally
• Experience using/managing/configuring a Common Data Environment (CDE)
• Ability to train and support team members in BIM processes and tools¹. Experience in implementing model QA procedures & clash detection
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in CAD authoring tools, e.g. AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit
• Strong understanding of ISO19650, PAS1192, BS1192 suite of documents

Desirable, but not compulsory:

• Experience in authoring and/or reviewing Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) and BIM Execution Plans (BEP)
• Experience in water and wastewater treatment, or similar utility
• Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud CDE
• Understanding of data in the context of engineering and design
