BIM Modeller/Drafter

A summary of the responsibilities of this position in relation to the construction industry are, (and not limited to), as follows:

• Analyse and understand tender and construction drawings
• Review and fabricate models and drawings
• Produce constructible 3D drawings and be able to translate them into 2D shop drawings
• Update site progress information and ensure the accuracy of shop drawings
• Adhere to safety guidelines and practices in the work place
• To assist the Project Managers and project team with other tasks

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Project Engineer and/or BIM Modeller/Coordinator
• Experience on producing M&E shop drawings
• Experience in adoption of BIM processes in construction projects
• Well-versed / Certified in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks and BIM360
• Good understanding of M&E works and able to associate BIM with construction needs
• Willingness to learn and use new software/technology
• Self-driven and good time management
• Educational background : BIM related certification
