Description:

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical design and engineering, with proficiency in various software applications. This role involves collaborating with project teams to develop and implement effective solutions, ensuring that all designs meet the required specifications and standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and NavisWorks.
  • Strong understanding of technical schematics and the ability to interpret complex designs.
  • Experience in building models using Sketchup is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in engineering or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed technical drawings and schematics using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
  • Create 3D models and visualisations using Sketchup and NavisWorks to support project presentations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to build and refine project plans.
  • Conduct site visits to gather data and assess conditions for project feasibility.
  • Maintain accurate records of all designs, modifications, and project documentation.
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues during the design and implementation phases.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout all projects.
