Description:
PROFILE
- You have a degree in bioinformatics, IT or life sciences
- You have knowledge and experience with Python
- You are familiar with quality assurance systems and ISO standards
- You are willing to work with Linux and High Performance Compute environments
- You are an accommodating team player and find patient diagnostics important
- Fluent in English required, preferably also fluent in Dutch, if not you need to be willing to learn the language
Responsibilities:
As a bioinformatician, you are the first point of contact and responsible for the data processing of the genetic data used for patient diagnostics. You carry out data analysis pipelines, both manually and automated, and ensure a timely delivery to lab specialists and clinical geneticists. You are also responsible for the quality assurance of the bioinformatics procedures. You develop automated procedures & data analysis pipelines and provide quality assurance through documentation, validation, verification & standard operating procedures (SOP) according to ISO 15189 and IEC-62304 standards.
