Job Description:
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum qualifications are not established for this position; however, we are seeking applicants with the following experience or skills. Preference for interviews may be given to candidates with these skills and background:
- Experience conducting field work under a variety of weather conditions
- Experience conducting fish surveys
- Experience operating rotary screw traps
- Experience identifying fish species
- Experience tagging fish
- Anyone who has or are in pursuit of a Fisheries or Wildlife Science degree or related degree in biological/ecological sciences.
Responsibilities:
- Operate juvenile fish traps
- Tag wild juvenile Chinook salmon and steelhead
- Survey juvenile fish populations
- Summarize and assist with analyzing dat
