Description:
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
As a Biologics Account Manager, you will be covering the severe asthma centres in Yorkshire and North East of England. Reporting to a National Sales Manager, you are responsible for developing strategic relationships with key influencers based on a deep scientific understanding of issues to build opportunities and improve access to medicines for patients.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Full driving licence
- ABPI qualification
- Significant Secondary Care sales experience with a sound knowledge of account management
- Track record of engaging key stakeholders in complex clinical environments
- Proven track record in influencing the prescribing decision-making process across key accounts
- Proven experience of working in complex cross-functional teams
- Strong ability to debate, discuss and negotiate with senior HCPs and DMU team members
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Business or Commercial related degree
- Wellard’s diploma or equivalent
- Current knowledge and experience of AZ designated territory and customers
- Significant Pharmaceutical sales experience in one or more of the areas below: Respiratory Biologics products, High-Cost Specialist Medicines (specialised commissioning), Secondary Care Respiratory and Biologics (other therapeutic areas)
- Experience of influencing successfully in a complex organisation
- Proven track record of launching secondary care medicine/worked in an environment with rapidly shifting clinical and treatment paradigms
