QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum [3-5 years] experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic and testing tools for medical devices.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards for medical equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and technical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We seek a highly skilled Biomedical Engineer to support our facility’s maintenance and optimization of medical equipment. The successful candidate will ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of biomedical devices essential to patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field and significant experience in medical equipment management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, calibrate, and maintain biomedical equipment and systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning medical devices.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure equipment meets patient care needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Stay updated on advancements in biomedical technology and recommend upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to medical devices.
- Provide training to healthcare staff on the proper use of biomedical equipment.
