We are looking for a Biostatistician to join our Immunogenetics team.
JOB SUMMARY
The Anthony Nolan Research Institute (ANRI) delivers world-leading research in the field of Haematopoietic Cell Transplantation (HCT). As we launch our ambitious five-year Research Strategy, we are looking to increase our Biostatistical support across the organization. Working within ANRI, we are looking for a Biostatistician to support and collaborate with colleagues in the development of quantitative and qualitative research studies. The role will involve study design, creating data files, coding of study data, performing statistical analyses, and contributing to conference abstracts and manuscript preparation.
Essential attributes include:
- A degree in statistics or a closely related field is essential.
- Previous experience in performing statistical design and analyses in medical related research, either through additional qualifications or work experience is required.
- A strong background in analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to select appropriate methodologies when analysing data
- Experience of survival analysis and the application of other relevant statistical techniques would be an advantage
- Enthusiastic to learn and develop new projects, to and support others in building their statistical knowledge.
- Be enthusiastic about developing a career in the field of HCT research.
- Promoting a culture of honest and constructive two-way feedback.
- Ensuring effective communication with staff of all levels across the organisation.
