My Bistro, a part of My Catering Group, is a locally owned and creative food and beverage café operating out of some of Canada’s most important cultural institutions: the Canadian Museum of History, the Canadian War Museum, the Canadian Museum of Nature, and the National Art Gallery of Canada. JOB SUMMARY: The Bistro Attendant is responsible for being an integral part of front of house operations in assisting other staff members. The position involves a rotating role as cashier, bus person, patio runner and brand ambassador. Someone who offers excellent customer satisfaction in a high volume and fast paced environment.
Bilingual French and English is essential. Must be available to work weekends and holidays to be considered for the position.
QUALIFICATIONS
*Previous experience in a similar customer service role *Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously *Experience with handling cash transactions and using a POS system to process orders and payments accurately. *Ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency. *Bilingual in both French and English *Smart Serve Certified, an asset

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $17.50 - $18.00/hour.

Responsibilities:
*Cashier - performing sale transactions *Cleaning and resetting tables, removing dishes after customers leave *Cleaning furniture, fixtures, and some equipment - maintaining order in the bistro *Ensure the availability of clean dining materials *Receiving deliveries • Having excellent communication with guests *Restocking supplies as needed (coffee cups, cutlery, napkins, condiments, etc) *Restocking beverages and food items. *Emptying Garbage and Recycling bins as needed throughout and at the the end of daily service - includes patios during summer season
