Responsibilities:
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced BizTalk Integration Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and managing BizTalk solutions to support our business integration needs. This role involves working closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and other developers to ensure seamless integration of various systems and applications.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:
- Designing, developing, installing, and configuring integration applications within the (MS BizTalk) environment.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders (Business Teams, Project Managers, Project Teams, etc.) to ensure successful solution implementation.
- Completing all assigned development and maintenance tasks, including service requests, releases, incidents, and problems.
- Monitoring, performance-tuning, and troubleshooting application and environment issues to ensure high system availability.
- Working directly with customers to define requirements and present solutions.
- Guiding development using BizTalk products and other technologies to build integrations that support business requirements.
- Managing technical scope and client expectations.
- Ensuring alignment with the Systems Integration Services team.
- Producing solution documentation following the Systems Integration Services team documentation templates.
- Reviewing solutions developed with the Systems Integration Services team and transferring knowledge to them.
WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:
- A University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, a related discipline or certification in Information Technology from a recognized community college.
- A minimum of five (5) years of IM/IT experience.
- 3+ years of experience in developing HL7 v2x interfaces with MS BizTalk Server.
- Experience implementing HL7 v2x ADT, ORM and ORU interfaces with PACS systems.
- Experience with XML, XSLT, XSD, WCF, and web services.
- Knowledge of C# and .NET framework.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and database design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
