Description:

The Black Talent Pipeline (BTP) Program Coordinator will be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of YBLA’s Black Talent Pipeline Program, which is designed to develop leadership skills in young Black college students who are passionate about making a positive impact in the world. The program also connects these talented students with business leaders to help build their social capital and provide access to meaningful internship and leadership opportunities.
The coordinator will work closely with corporate partners, colleges and universities, students, and community leaders serving as mentors to ensure successful program implementation and an enriching experience for all participants. Key responsibilities will include overseeing the Professional Development Week, coordinating the weekend leadership retreat, the service abroad trip, and evaluating the program’s impact to maximize the effectiveness of the BTP initiative.
Key Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Social Sciences, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in program coordination, youth development, or career development initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with corporate partners, colleges, and community organizations.
  • Experience working with young adults in an educational, nonprofit, or corporate setting is a plus.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students, partners, and volunteers.
  • Experience with data tracking and reporting to measure program impact.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and video conferencing tools (Zoom).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by program needs.
