Responsibilities:

WHAT ARE THE KEY OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTATIONS FROM THIS ROLE?

To handle the Blend activities, Product stewardship for blends and Product support services required for their assigned responsibilities. Blenders will also interpret global data and propose opportunities for standards and guidelines, complexity reduction workstreams and global tobacco utilization as well as corrective actions to maintain compliance to blend toxicant limits.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Leads the end-to-end Blend development activities for the assigned responsibilities / Cycle Plan projects / workstreams & Tech Blocks within the team (THP)
  • Supports the Senior Blenders in running operational project aspects enabling the delivery of OTIF of specification readiness for Blend Development
  • Analyses portfolio of Global Blends assigned and proposes opportunities for transfer of success, seeking alignments and complexity management while remaining complaint to Toxicant limits and broader product claims.
  • Manages the Implementation of new and modified Blends with New Categories Product Deploy through clear Performance Specifications & Guidelines, and systems management where required.
  • Leads the regulatory/stewardship requirements for new to world developments / enablers.
  • Manages the accurate update of systems (TaO, Gloss) for assigned blends/ categories.
  • Handles quality and consistency of Blend specifications (under Central Product accountability) through tracking of monthly Analytical/Toxicological results throughout the defined supply chain (Leaf to emissions), and propose corrective actions where required.
  • Manages Operational studies & trials to support processing changes in PMD /SMD facilitating improvements in efficiencies, wastage, or product sensorial benefits.
