Bloomberg Intelligence Equity Research Strategist, Emerging EMEA

As an Equity Strategist covering fundamental and thematic issues driving emerging market equities, you will be part of a fast-growing global team, responsible for research coverage and thought leadership on equity markets at large, investment themes and the relevance of thematics in investment strategies related to your region. This role will involve regular analysis of macroeconomic data and earnings trends impacting the key markets and sectors within your regional coverage, as well as detailed market performance and relative value analysis, and will provide modeled input to broader coverage of emerging and global equity markets.
At BI, we model markets and build customized data and insights necessary to make market assessments and enable portfolio decisions. As a key member of our global equity strategy team, you will be expected to form strong model-driven perspectives on emerging markets in EMEA, as well as sometimes nascent and rapidly evolving technologies or thematic topics in the region. The role requires frequent publishing of data-driven perspectives, as well as development of analytical models on equity markets and themes to establish yourself as a thought leader. You will be asked to model and integrate regional market analysis into our emerging market as well as global equity allocation frameworks. You will also work closely with BE (Bloomberg Economics) BI and BNEF industry, legal, credit and quant analysts around the world, as well as best-in-class data scientists, engineers, Bloomberg Index and Core Product managers to create new relevant datasets, construct both systematic and thematic portfolios, and expand the reach of BI thematic strategy product. You will play a key part in helping create and maintain theme universes leveraging BI’s proprietary theme construction methodology.
