POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Role : BMS Apprentice Engineer
  • Location : London & Southeast, UK
  • Reports to : Commissioning Manager

  • Apprenticeship Training : Enrolment in BCIA scheme, system training courses

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Essential : GCSEs in Mathematics, English, Science & IT (C/4 or above).
  • Desirable : A-levels in Mathematics, Physics, IT, Engineering, or a BTEC National Diploma in Engineering.

SKILLS:

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Desirable :

  • Basic understanding of engineering principles.
  • Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python or C++.
  • Leadership or teamwork experience through extracurricular activities.

  • Willingness to participate in training and development programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior engineers with design, development, and testing of BMS projects.
  • Install, maintain, and repair BMS equipment and systems under guidance.
  • Support project documentation through technical report writing.
  • Collaborate with engineering team members to address challenges and solve problems.Attend training sessions and workshops to expand technical knowledge and skills.
