Description:

£4,000 PER ANNUM

Worthing Homes, a successful and high-performing housing association, is seeking a dynamic and innovative professional to join our Board. With over 4,000 homes in the Sussex coastal area and a keen development program, we are committed to delivering first-class customer services and investing in our homes and communities.
We are seeking candidates who have a background in property development and/or asset management to complement our existing Board skillset. Whilst an understanding of the social housing sector is advantageous, more important is a passion for working with customers and communities.
As a Board Member, you will work alongside our Senior Leadership Team to support the delivery of our ambitious corporate plan and business improvement program. In a 12-month period, the role requires a time commitment of approximately 1.5 days per month, with meetings hosted ‘in person’ at our office in central Worthing (meetings are currently held in the evening). This includes attendance at a quarterly meeting of the Asset and Development Committee, along with the additional Board Strategy events, held twice a year, over two days.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the provision of housing and a range of customer services to the communities we serve on the South coast.
For more information, please see our Board Member candidate pack.
