Job Description
In this pivotal and exciting role, reporting to the Group Company Secretary, you’ll take a lead role in ensuring the smooth running of our Wise plc Board meetings and principal subsidiaries.
This is an important role in the Wise Group with an expectation that you will provide a best in class board support service in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • To manage the logistical and administrative arrangements for the plc board and committee meetings and other board/committee events
  • To assist with the provision of support for non-executive directors, including arrangements for onboarding and training
  • To prepare agendas, skeleton minute production, maintenance of action logs, review and circulation of board papers for plc and principal subsidiaries
  • To assist with the logistical and technical arrangements for the AGM
  • To assist with the team’s input to the financial audit and the annual report and accounts
  • To manage the organisation of the annual board/committee meetings calendar
  • Improving the team’s processes and procedures
  • Management of our group entities on Diligent
  • Being the owner of Diligent Boards portal

Qualifications
-

Experience of working in a fast paced company secretary function

  • Experience in the coordination and administering of corporate and senior level board/committee meetings
  • Proven ability and substantial experience of prioritising and organising a large, complex and busy workload
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to influence others
  • Proficient in co sec software (Board portal and entity management) and google docs
  • Experience of working with senior stakeholders
  • Pragmatic, flexible and organised with excellent attention to detail
