Job Overview
We are seeking a patient focused booking team co-ordinator to run the busy Medicine Booking team.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible and adapt to the ever-changing needs of the team and patients alike.
You will monitor inbound and outbound calls, ensuring all tasks are completed competently and in a timely way.
You will be responsible for the smooth running of the department routinely checking worklists for referral back logs and clearing as required.
You will also need to be an exceptional communicator as most of the work required will be via the phone or on-line in ‘teams’
To manage the day to day running of the Medicine Booking Team.
Ensuring all patient referrals are booked in Turn.
Manage eRS system referrals for all Specialties.
Highlight when worklists on eRS are not being triaged in a timely fashion.
Maintain processes and understand the systems used regularly within the team.
