We are expanding our team and we need you! A great opportunity has arisen for us to recruit booking team members into the women’s health department.
Are you a proactive proactive and motivated individual who enjoys working in a challenging and busy environment? If so we want you to support the Women’s Health specialities at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
You will provide a professional and courteous “front of house” service for all staff and visitors utilising the facilities provided within Sharoe Green Unit, Royal Preston Hospital, acting in a professional and courteous manner at all times. Respond to requests for information promptly and efficiently using a variety of communication methods, ensuring that Trust Customer Service standards are adhered to. Ensure information is accurate and meets Trust Standards regarding delivering information.
TOTAL flexibility in working is required as you will be required to work a variety of early/ late shifts as the reception currently operates 08:00 - 18:00. Full & Part time positions are available.
You will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, must be flexible in approach, able to exercise initiative and demonstrate a consistently high standard of professionalism, being aware of the need for confidentiality and integrity.
You will assist with r esponding to external and internal telephone queries from staff, patients and others and referring to appropriate person.
Communicate with a range of staff, users and visitors to the Trust / Department utilizing a variety of communication methods including verbal, electronic and passing information in a format that is appropriate to the individual request.
Supporting with preparing clinics and ensure medical and nursing team are supported throughout the clinic.

To prepare Clinics and ensure the Medical and Nursing Team are supported throughout the clinic.
Organizing incoming and outgoing post, referring inquiries to the appropriate person if necessary.
Utilization of local or Trust case note tracking system.
Filing of reports and results.
Data Entry.
Perform an ambassadorial role, representing the Women’s Health Department “Front of House” service, acting in a professional, courteous, and customer-focused manner at all times.
