Description:
Working within a small, and busy admin hub.
Answering telephone quires form patients, booking appointments and liaising with patients and Dieticians.
This is a varied admin job, you will be mainly overviewing the timely booking of new patients referred to the Dietetics department via various NHS sources.
To action Promptly and courteously all telephone calls and email messages received, and deal with messages efficiently only passing on to others those that need professional input.
To operate System One appointments system to complete data entry and make patient bookings. You will assist in organising the appointment system to deal with any changes or cancellations, at short notice, that will effect the smooth running of the department.
To communicate effectively with patients and carers, using highly developed communication and listening skills, including tact and diplomacy to placate and diffuse aggression/ frustration etc.
