Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Payroll Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or payroll clerk.
- Proficiency in accounting software Sage and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
