We are currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with Canada and USA accounting
  • Focus on achieving results, adapting to non-traditional working hours, and committing full-time.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities:

  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial transactions
  • Track expenses
  • Prepare profit and loss monthly reports
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks
  • Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
  • Handle account reconciliation to maintain financial integrity
  • Assist in budgeting processes to support financial planning
  • Manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments
  • Prepare and submit all government remittances (Payroll, WSIB, EHT, HST, CRA Remittance, IFTA)
  • Prepare T4 statements, ROEs and other statements
  • Handle other bill payments
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries and prepare trial balance for books
  • Store, update and retrieve financial data
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing systems
