We are looking for a Unicorn. This role is a dual role where we would like to find someone able to keep bookkeeping task done to a high standard, but also work with the Director on financial controlling, budgeting and forecasting.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Part-time Bookkeeper and CFO to join our growing team at The Joinery Coach in Melbourne, VIC. As a Bookkeeper and CFO, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and strategic direction of our expanding business coaching business and divisions. This is a part-time position, offering a flexible work arrangement to support your work-life balance.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and key performance indicators for management
  • Provide strategic financial advice and recommendations to the leadership team
  • Oversee cash flow management and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and tax requirements
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
  • Support the development of financial policies and procedures
  • Mentor and provide guidance to the finance team
