JOB DESCRIPTION
This role will cover all aspects of accounts for retail stores plus a manufacturing business.
A sought-after role offering a qualified Bookkeeper or Accountant the opportunity to work for a well-established group of related companies.
The company will provide the successful applicant a unique and broad range of experience in a niche industry.
You will be responsible for all primary finance and payroll related functions. This role will offer you a varied and busy working environment coupled with a long-term opportunity.
The successful applicant will have permanent Australian residency, driver’s license, superior written and verbal English communication skills, be self-motivated, able to problem solve, work with minimal supervision and constantly endeavor to improve existing procedures.
You must present a sound work ethic, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience with Xero accounting system and relevant work experience in the accounting and bookkeeping field. Experience in the sales / purchasing industries will be an advantage. . You will also have an excellent understanding of MS Excel as well as general computer skills.
This is a position for a candidate who is willing to take responsibility for their work and aspires to become an integral part of a small team.

Responsibilities:
- End-to-end AP and AR with collections including data entry
- Monitoring cash flow and maintaining all the company accounts.
- Monthly BAS preparation and lodgments
- Weekly Payroll and super payments for up to 25 employees.
- Annual reporting of Payroll Tax
- Support of external accountant during and at end of financial year.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports and present to management
- monitoring all outstanding and over due accounts, sales orders and customer credits.
- Ad hoc tasks as required.
