Description:

We are looking to fill the position for a full time bookkeeper on behalf of our client situated in Beaverlodge.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate is accountable for but not limited to:

  • Assisting with accounting activities pertaining to all aspects of A/P, A/R, and Payroll.

Month/Year End procedures

  • Preparing reports, updating, and retrieving financial data
  • Maintaining filing and record systems
  • Processing invoices and supporting documents
  • Performing accounts receivable calls and answering customer inquiries
  • Ensuring administrative and accounting compliance with company policies and standards
  • Coordinating duties with other members of the accounting department as needed

Qualifications:

  • Some post-secondary education or technical training in accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of office admin or accounting experience
  • Proficiency/experience with Sage accounting software
  • Must be skilled with MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Familiarity with general office equipment, internet
