Job Description:
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly management of accounts
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Track and manage financial data and accounting records
Entering financial transactions into the accounting system and CRM
Fact-check accounting information to comply with CRA requirements
Prepare and administer weekly payroll for employees and sub-contractors
Remitting payroll taxes and governmental reporting
Disseminating financial reports to staff
Using a system to account for the financial transactions made by the company to establish a chart of accounts
Monitoring phone lines as first point of contact for incoming customer inquiries, when receptionist is on the other line or on break
Communicating necessary details, as needed, to suppliers, estimators, managers, controller, receptionists, and owners.
Qualifications:
2 years bookkeeping experience required
Construction bookkeeping experience an asset
Great interpersonal skills that enable you to clearly and effectively communicate with other employees
Familiarity with the general principles of accounting
The ability to communicate complex financial data with other members
Likes to be supportive while working independently
Good data entry skills
Likes consistency, stability, and following procedures
A strong understanding of math and numbers
The ability to use various financial transactions such as accounts payable and accounts receivable
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
