FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER

Imagineers, LLC is a highly regarded property management company located in Hartford CT. We are a family-oriented company and our roots date back to 1973.
Our Housing Program Management Division, which administers rental payment programs for various communities in CT, is seeking qualified candidates for the Full Charge Bookkeeping position. Under the direction of the Payments Manager, this position will assist with ensuring that all accounting is processed correctly and complies with U.S. Housing and Urban Development and standard accounting guidelines.

THE CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY:

A high energy individual who is a motivated, organized, self-starter with excellent communication skills - both oral and written, possess exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail and the ability to self-audit, general experience in bookkeeping, minimum of one year AP/AR experience preferred, Section 8 payments experience is preferred, keen attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and handle high clerical task volume. Must be savvy in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts receivable activities
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Posting of journal entries
  • Comp sheet review
  • News & cancel report
  • Assists with monthly check run and manual check runs
  • Sending files to the bank
  • Monthly invoice processing along with landlord/tenant requests
  • Other tasks as necessary and assigned
