Description:
We are in search of a Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role provides a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including bookkeeping, office administration, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Conduct data entry of financial information with accuracy
- Use QuickBooks for bookkeeping operations and Microsoft Excel for maintaining spreadsheets
- Execute journal entries and perform reconciliations as per the company’s requirements
- Handle daily deposits and manage credit card transactions
- Oversee daily mail and ensure timely correspondence with employees
- Organize and maintain office supplies to ensure smooth office operations
- Coordinate and celebrate employee birthdays and other celebrations to foster a positive office environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in similar roles within the Real Estate & Property industry
- Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Proven experience in Bookkeeping
- Proficiency in Data Entry tasks
- Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with QuickBooks software
- Ability to perform Reconciliations effectively
- Experience in handling Daily Mail operations
- Ability to maintain and manage office supplies efficiently
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work as required
- A valid driver’s license may be required for this role
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal real estate property regulations and laws.
