Description:
We are on the hunt for a skilled Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team in Purchase, New York. The chosen individual will be tasked with a range of duties including handling customer inquiries, maintaining customer credit records, processing credit applications, and overseeing customer accounts. This position caters to those who thrive in an in-office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
- Handling data entry tasks and maintaining accurate records
- Utilizing QuickBooks for bookkeeping and other financial tasks
- Overseeing the month-end close process
- Handling payroll duties with accuracy and efficiency
- Performing bank reconciliations and rectifying discrepancies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis
- Addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Managing customer credit applications and monitoring customer accounts
- Participating in local events, engaging in marketing, and contributing to business development activities
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
- Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Capability to perform Bank Reconciliations
- Solid Bookkeeping skills
- Fast and accurate Data Entry skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Month End Close procedures
- Knowledge of Payroll processes
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks
