Description:

Bigweld Gas & Welding Supplies is seeking a part-time, experienced bookkeeper to join our growing team. We are a family-owned, independent, industrial gas and welding supply company in Ingleburn NSW. As we expand, we’re looking for a skilled bookkeeper who is highly motivated, organised and willing to learn.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years experience in office administrative/bookkeeping or similar role (required)
  • Proficient in using accounting software Reckon Accounts Hosted or Quickbooks (ideal)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This part-time role is for 18-24 hours per week on-site in Ingleburn and would be perfect for a detail-oriented individual looking to balance work with personal commitments. As our bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate will have prior bookkeeping or accounting experience, particularly using Reckon Accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process and manage accounts payables and receivables, including invoicing and entering bills.
  • Reconcile bank accounts regularly to maintain accuracy.
  • Process payroll, superannuation and prepare monthly BAS documentation.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting and analysis.
  • Provide administrative support such as filing, processing orders and responding to customer enquiries.
