Description:
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in our automotive industry team located in Rochester Hills, Michigan. As a Bookkeeper, you’ll be entrusted with managing and recording our company’s financial transactions, maintaining precise financial records, reconciling bank statements, managing payroll, and ensuring the accuracy of our financial management through internal audits.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and accurately record the company’s financial transactions
- Maintain up-to-date and precise financial records
- Reconcile bank statements regularly and efficiently
- Manage payroll duties, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time
- Prepare invoices, balance sheets, and carry out general ledger duties
- Conduct internal audits regularly to ensure financial management accuracy
- Utilize software such as NetSuite and Microsoft Excel for data entry and other tasks
- Perform account reconciliation and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in the month-end close process.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping within the Automotive industry
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliations
- Experience with Month End Close procedures
- Familiarity with payroll systems and processes
- Proficient in Data Entry tasks
- Demonstrated use of NetSuite for financial management
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
