Description:
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in FORT WAYNE, Indiana. This role is within the finance industry and entails significant work in the office environment, particularly during morning hours.
Responsibilities
- Conducting bookkeeping tasks to maintain precise financial records.
- Utilizing QuickBooks for various accounting operations.
- Performing bank reconciliations and managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Conducting account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Handling data entry tasks and managing information within the system.
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reporting.
- Overseeing payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely payment.
- Ensuring the month-end close processes are timely and accurate.
- Providing support as an office manager and assisting in resolving inquiries.
- Monitoring and reviewing financial data for accuracy.
- Solid understanding and experience in Account Reconciliation
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience with Bank Reconciliations
- Proven expertise in Bookkeeping
- Capable of performing accurate Data Entry tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Month End Close procedures
- Familiarity with Payroll processing
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Enterprise
