Bordereaux Analyst 6 Month FTC
Location: London
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract – 6 Months (potential to be extended / made permanent)

About The Job

  • Assist the Delegated Authority Bordereaux Manager on the management and oversight of the end-to-end bordereaux validation, payment and mapping process for claims, premium and risk bordereaux for the entire Delegated Authority portfolio aligning to MS Amlin Values and adhering to all internal and external procedures and regulation.
  • To work with our service partner Genpact collaboratively to deliver market leading levels of service and through streamlining processes, innovation and effective use of data, deliver accurate and meaningful outputs to our internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the processing of risk, premium and claims bordereaux into BDX for lead and follow binders by our Genpact team
  • Manage systems and processes to monitor and measure service provision.
  • Key contact and escalation point for any bordereaux related queries
  • Work with our service partner Genpact to ensure all potential breaches are raised and resolved
  • Final escalation point for any outstanding bordereaux and data issues to the Delegated Authority Committee.
  • Escalation point for issues in relation to the reconciliation of financial records between bordereaux, TRAX and source systems.

Managing performance reporting including:

  • Work closely with the Data team and different internal stakeholders to design, develop and implement tailor- made reporting solutions for the business.
  • Ensuring reporting and KPI’s arising from all activities are accurate and timely
  • Monitor data quality via dashboards and liaise with the service partner to ensure issues are identified and resolved
  • Manage queries relating to MI reporting to ensure continued usage of BDX data
  • Reporting to Lloyd’s and other regulatory bodies as and when required
  • Continually seek improvement to management information ensuring it is accurate and fit for purpose
  • Be a key subject matter expert for all bordereaux related topics – providing specialist knowledge to clients, our service partner Genpact and the business to inform better decisions and add value through our tailor-made reporting capabilities.
  • Be key liaison point to Genpact to work together to deliver superior bordereaux validation and mapping service.
  • Work together with the Delegated Underwriting and Delegated Claims Manger to ensure the complete and accurate provision of reports and dashboards to monitor performance and facilitate better business decisions by the business and for our clients.
  • To ensure personal knowledge is up to date with all regulatory requirements relevant to data processing, sharing this knowledge with colleagues and our service partner Genpact to ensure awareness and adherence of such regulation
  • Role model and foster a culture of open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement - mentoring and sharing expertise with team and colleagues to deliver a superior service
