ABOUT THE JOB
We’re searching for Bottle Shop Attendants to join our dynamic team for 10+ hours per week; they must be available on weekdays and the occasional weekend. No prior bottle shop experience? No worries! We’re looking for individuals with a passion for customer service, a friendly demeanour, and a can-do attitude. Plus, if you’re all about teamwork but can also rock it solo when needed, you’re exactly who we’re looking for!
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Efficiently, knowledgeably, and warmly supply liquor and other bottle department products to customers.
- Standard Operational Procedures: Adhere to Standard Operational Procedures as directed by the Department Manager.
- Stock Management: Assist in stock takes and the preparation of product displays as needed.
- Internal Supply: Support the supply of liquor from the bottle shop to other hotel departments in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Promotions: Stay aware of promotions and actively promote retail products, promotions, and services to customers and potential customers.
- Sales Targets: Achieve targets for add-on sales, up-selling, and spend per head.
- Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness of the bottle shop to the standard required by the Department Manager.
- Cash Handling: Follow all till and cash handling procedures as per policy and procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure personal compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol.
- Safety: Follow all hotel policies and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment is maintained.
