Main Responsibilities
- To assist with the setup of your area prior to guests arrival, ensuring all necessary mise en place, equipment and preparation is in place.
- To work efficiently, adhering to company working practices.
- To complete any task assigned by a supervisor, working proactively at all times.
- A comprehensive knowledge of the menu, with the ability to describe menu items in detail to guests while recording orders.
- An understanding of fine dining etiquette, with adherence to this at all times.
- Comprehensive knowledge of wine and champagne lists, with the ability to provide recommendations.
- Providing the highest possible level of customer service.
- Working in adherence with Food Allergens information and service procedures.
- Ensuring all food and beverage products served are of the required standard, well presented, and served in line with service guidelines.
- Extensive knowledge of all beverage products stocked.
- Reporting any guest complaints, queries or issues to a supervisor, assisting in resolving these where possible.
- Complete adherence to all licensing legislation, including that which is company specific.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changes, working in different areas as necessary due to business demands or in line with any reasonable request.
- To comply fully with all regulations relating Health and Safety.
