QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be highly motivated and organized with outstanding problem solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are required, previous knowledge and work experience in a customer service area is preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of computers including experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, as well as proficient internet research skills are an asset.
  • Knowledge and working experience in a customer service area is preferable.
  • Must be available and willing to work days, evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge or working experience of ticketing software would be an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Process single ticket orders in person or by phone to different events taking place at the Oakville Centre and other venues in Oakville.
  • Process, sell, and provide detailed information to the public on the big ticket membership discounts, length of membership, and costs.
  • Process orders and provide information on costs, availability, deadline dates for subscription packages available to events at the Centre.
  • Provide accurate and detailed information on policies, procedures and theatre etiquette to the public.
  • Reception duties for the Oakville Centre in person and over the phone.
  • Respond and assist patrons by providing technical support to the public purchasing tickets to events on sale at the Oakville Centre via the on line web site.
  • Other duties as required.
