Responsibilities:
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Together with the local Finance team ensure the operational conversion of the regional BPA strategic goals to the different business units within Hungary, like:
- Provide the local management with accurate, relevant business analysis to support monthly operational reviews and ad-hoc requests, and ensure timely and accurate information gathering.
- Continous-analysis to evaluate risks and opportunities; make recommendations to mitigate the risks, supporting opportunities.
- Manage and provide financial analysis and decision-making support for a investment/project in a domain
- Ensure, that ongoing business performance is appropriately monitored and measured, and drive early warning for re-direction of resources with Business Partners.
- Driving the predefined monthly closing process on sales and cost – high focus on P/L, B/S and the Net Working Capital elements
- Provide accurate operational information and advice to support the annual budgeting , rolling forecast and Strategic Planning processes.
- Ensure integrity of data provided by commercial teams, and provides value added; provides recommendations on forecast accuracy improvement .
- Provide well managed and quality financial analysis in order to improve business case proposals and profitability tracking.
- Continually improve and streamline existing management reporting processes and support the definition and implementation of lean processes to meet the changing demands of the business.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:
- Qualification in Accounting/Finance/Economics; CA or CMA or MBA or equivalent professional degree is desirable
- 5 to 7 years of relevant accounting / financial / finance business partnering experience, extensive BPA experience preferrably from Pharma or FMCG industries
- Excellent analytical and strategic skills. Ability to understand the bigger picture
- Experience with interfacing effectively with parent and global counterparts
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing; ability to clearly explain financial information to a broad range of audiences
- A drive to have wider / bigger responsibilites within Sandoz on mid-term.
