Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for a Branch Administrator to join our team in Calgary. The purpose of the role is to oversee day-to-day administration of the branch and directly support the Branch Manager. You will have excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize. This is a permanent full-time role.
Responsibilities:
- Create a supportive and productive environment in the branch;
- Promote employee autonomy, innovation, and engagement;
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch, including front desk staff, health and safety oversight and delegation, and cage operations;
- Ensure the smooth processing of KYC documentation, ensuring compliance with all items that fall under the branch team;
- Assist with compliance audits, including gathering of information, submissions and liaising with audit team on behalf of the branch; including monthly submissions of forms for registration and compliance review;
- Support Branch Manager in creating efficiencies and developing enhancements to branch policies and procedures;
- Arrange meetings with sales associates and branch team to provide updates and collaborate on creating efficiencies;
- Manage training, hiring, scheduling, supervising, and performance of all branch support staff;
- Assist Branch Manager with other projects as required, including practice management and client relations;
- Liaise between branch staff and head office teams to resolve issues and understand processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Completion (or in the process of completing) of CSC and CPH with brokerage industry experience in a similar role;
- Excellent customer service, communication skills, interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with employees and clients at all levels;
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills;
- Ability to problem solve and take initiative;
- Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel)
- The ability to maintain a sense of urgency and meet deadlines;The ability to demonstrate confidentiality and discretion.
