THE OPPORTUNITY
Leavitt Machinery is looking for an organized and customer-oriented Branch Administrator to join our team in Stratford, Ontario. As the Branch Administrator you will be responsible for greeting and directing customers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, both in person and over the phone.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field considered an asset
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft programs is required, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Highly organized, reliable, and a self-starter with good time management skills
- A team player and strong multi-tasker with a generally positive and pleasant demeanor

Responsibilities:
As the Branch Administrator your key responsibilities will include:
- Branch reception duties, including answering phone calls, collecting pertinent information, and transferring callers to the right contact as needed
- Greeting and directing walk-in visitors at the branch
- Coordinating and distributing interoffice mail
- Supporting with shipping and receiving duties as needed
- Ordering and tracking office supply orders, marketing items, and vendor servicing of the branch
- Tracking invoices, including contacting vendors for Parts and Service invoices
- Safety administration and document filing
- Assisting others in the branch with submitting expense claims
- Managing and reconciling branch petty cash
- Coordinating quoting for facilities work, including gathering approvals and POs from the Facilities department
- Arranging branch related activities and preparing the boardroom as needed for interviews, training sessions, and other meetings
- Arranging meals for luncheons as needed
