Position Overview:
The Brand Manager - Business Development will be responsible for driving the growth of Affliction Clothing by developing and executing brand strategies that enhance our market presence and profitability. This role requires a creative thinker with strong marketing skills, a deep understanding of the fashion industry, and a proven track record in brand management and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Brand Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for brand growth and differentiation.
2. Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations that align with the brand’s vision.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, distributors, and influencers.
3. Marketing & Promotions:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute innovative marketing campaigns that elevate brand awareness and drive sales.
- Oversee the development of promotional materials, social media content, and other brand communications.
4. Product Development:
- Work closely with the design and product development teams to ensure that new product offerings align with brand identity and customer expectations.
5. Performance Tracking:
- Monitor and report on brand performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Set and track KPIs to measure the success of brand initiatives and business development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in brand management and business development, preferably in the fashion or apparel industry.
- Strong understanding of brand positioning, consumer behavior, and market trends.
- Proven track record of successful business development, including negotiation and partnership-building skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for fashion and lifestyle brands.
