Description:
We are looking for an experienced professional, commercially aware self-starter with proven experience in managing and motivating high performance sales teams to drive growth and new business development.
Strong drive, with a focus on delivery and minimum insurance qualification of Commercial APA.
This role requires a dynamic and motivated individual experienced in generating sales growth through leading successful sales initiatives and generating new business within new and existing markets. Must be a versatile self starter eager to drive sales and manage all aspects of branch activity.
- Delivery of annual business plan for branch, managing all aspects of the Branch Sales Office.
- Managing the performance of direct reports through coaching, development and support which delivers the required behaviours for a successful retail business.
- Identification of local business opportunities through the proactive participation in business development initiatives to grow branch revenue.
- Develop key customer relationships to improve new business and retention results.
- Proactive sales lead management (ie manage all aspects of the sales process through lead generation, prospecting, time and territory management, call activity, conversion and renewal development performance).
- Responsible for Branch complaint resolution in line with CPC/FCA guidelines
- Ensuring adherence to all governance procedures and policies as set down by the company.
- Providing regular Market insight to Direct Operations Leadership Team on emerging trends in a timely manner.
Your Profile
- Strong people skills, with proven track record in a successful sales team
- At least 5 years experience, with excellent product & technical knowledge to effectively handle referrals & support staff to achieve their goals
- Ability to manage change effectively in a highly pressurised environment
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills to build a high performing motivated team
- Effective coaching skills to deliver a highly effective, professional sales team
- Strong track record of effective Networking with key stakeholders across the business.
- Ability to prioritise workload and deliver on objectives
- Pragmatic approach to problem solving coupled with a structured approach to work
- Full clean driving licence
- Mandatory role with insurance qualification (APA Personal Lines and Commercial Lines) a minimum requirement. Candidates should be willing to progress CIP and MDI.
