WORLDPAC Canada is seeking a Full-Time Branch Operations Manager – (Red Deer, AB)
WORLDPAC, a subsidiary of Advance Auto Parts, imports and distributes original equipment and quality replacement automotive parts to select specialty import and domestic service centers.

We are looking for positive, goal-driven, car enthusiasts to join our collaborative branch team as Branch Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
- You are passionate about Operations Leadership, Health & Safety and Developing a professional Branch Team –you lead by example;
- You Champion Inclusion – you hire a diverse workforce to support our customers;
- You foster a Safe & Healthy Workplace Culture- to ensure the health and safety of our DC employees and our customers. You enforce all work and safety rules in order to ensure compliance with federal and provincial law, OSHA Regulations, and distribution center operations policies & procedures;
- Directly manage the Assistant Branch Operations Manager and branch teammates in the warehouse and delivery operation;
- Lead recruiting/on-boarding activities including interviewing, hiring, training;
- Plan, assign and direct work as required to meet the deadlines and targets of the branch;
- Instill and maintain a customer service oriented philosophy in all conduct of self and subordinates;
- Follow operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials and keeping warehouse inventory current;
- Make recommendations for improvements to procedures;
- Responsible for all monies collected from customers as well as petty cash and will call funds;
- Ensure cash management, replenishment, bin locations, returned merchandise and inventory errors are processed according to company standards;
- Manage the safety and maintenance repairs for delivery vehicles; Ensure safety procedures are followed and makes recommendations regarding safety issues
